Ben Leong (22-12) of Gaithersburg MD defeated Tom Anderson (17-17) of Moreno Valley CA by four games to one in the world series. Leong now has twenty STAR Tournaments wins.

In one semifinal, Leong defeated Mark Lewis, three games to two. In the other, Anderson defeated Wes Smith, three games to two, after Smith had gone ahead 2-0.

Smith (16-8), Lewis (16-8) & Anderson (13-11) won their respective divisions. Anderson won a tiebreaker game from Ed Daley to advance.

Mike Meszaros wins the West Regional points competition, and thereby has earned a place in the Papal Room.
