Mick Van Valkenberg (26-8) of San Jose CA defeated Tom Anderson (22-14) of Moreno Valley CA by four games to three in the world series. Van Valkenberg now has eight STAR Tournaments wins.

In one semifinal, Van Valkenberg defeated Kevin Daw, three games to none. In the other, Anderson defeated Randy Davidson, three games to two.

Van Valkenberg (19-5) won the 9-team division. Davidson (15-9) & Daw (13-11) won their respective 5-team divisions. Peter Waterstreet lost a tiebreaker to Anderson; Marshall Palmer lost one to Daw.
