Ben Leong (24-10) of Gaithersburg MD defeated Marshall Palmer (20-14) of San Ramon CA four games to two in the world series. It was Leong’s nineteenth STAR Tournaments win, the most in STAR.

In one semifinal, Leong defeated Julio Padilla, three games to 1.

In the other, Palmer defeated Mick VanValkenberg, three games to 1.

Leong (17-7) and VanValkenberg (16-8) won their respective divisions.
