Mark Giddings (22-11) of Sand Lake NY defeated John Hathaway (22-12) of Allentown NY four games to three in the World Series. It was Giddings’ seventh STAR Tournaments win.

Giddings defeated John Karadenes three games to none in one semi-final. Hathaway defeated Bruce Layton three games to two in the other semi-final.

Karadenes (18-3) and Hathaway (16-6) each won his division.
