Rob Woodard (24-10) of Dallas Texas defeated Dan and Tony Luburic (19-14) of Chicago Illinois and Ann Arbor Michigan, respectively, four games to three in the world series. This is Woodard's fifth Star Tournament win.
The Luburics defeated Ben Swoboda 3 games to 1 in one semi and Woodard defeated Frank Luisi 3 games to two in the other semi.
The Woodard (17-5) and Swoboda (16-6) won their respective divisions.
