Mark Delpopolo (19-16) of Tampa FL defeated Richie Wain (19-17) of Pittsburgh PA four games to three in the world series. Delpopolo now has six lifetime STAR Tournaments wins.

Delpopolo defeated the tag team of Bill Fenlon & Dave Johnson three games to one in the semi-finals. Wain defeated Jeff Matthews three games to two in the other semi-final. Matthews (15-9) and the tag team (14-10) finished first in their respective divisions. Delpopolo won a shootout from Paul Brownlee to advance.
