Jasper regional points are determined by the total of a players best three Jasper region tournament finishes and the finish in the Jasper regional tournament.
Players receive one point for each win in a regular season and one point for each game over .500 in a regular season, plus two points for each playoff game won. The winner of the tournament receives a bonus of one point for each entrant in the tournament. The second place-player receives 1/3 point for each participant in the tournament (truncated to an integer).
You may move points for one tournament to any other region. You must notify the Star Tournaments statistician to move any points between regions no later than the Monday before earliest of the two regional tournaments that are affected. However, points from two-region and open tournaments must be designated within three days of the tournaments end, or they will go to the default Region.
Gene Abood has directed that his Detroit/June points be moved to the East Region. Bruce Layton has directed that his Albany/July points be moved from the East Region to the Jasper. Ed Daley has directed that his Portland/Sept point be moved from the West Region to the Jasper. Hank Smith has directed that his Punta Gordo/Oct points be moved from the South Region to the Jasper. Daley, Layton & Smith are thereby eligible for the Regional Prize.
